Vampire Boyz

Now this movie was actually one of the more better films I’ve seen. Although , before I get into the good of this film I must comment on the bad that I felt brought it down.

1. The video quality was very dated looking and you could see that it was dated by a lot of the props and other things involved. This may seem like a stupid complaint but this movie did come out 2011, so there should at least have been a better picture quality from the video or something.

2. The acting, however at times good, wasn’t the best. I just found it at times very slow and amateur-ish or as I like to think of it as Dry acting. The plotline would have been much better if they had used a better cast or maybe went w/ people who already had acting experience(it felt like they didn’t from how dry or very emotionless the cast acted) I know, I know, “But they are vampires, they aren’t suppose to have any emotional depth” that’s good and all but still they should at least carry something towards making the character interesting. There was a moment where the actors had gotten into an argument and instead of the volume of their voices changing they kept up w/ the same volume and tone. Which brought the drama that should have been felt during that scene down by ALOT, it just felt like this was just one long conversation by one person who was not excited to be there.

Those are really my major complaints the storyline isn’t half bad and the plot was cute, I think this would make a great tv series maybe something like on HBO to keep the nude scenes and I think for some reason it would work out on that channel(for example True blood, the show features gay sex scenes and they still fit into things and the acting is great). The storyline sort of reminds me of most chick flicks. You know the story girl meets guy, guy is supposedly different from others(although this one is because he’s a vampire), girl has friend who wants her as well but she’s not into that person because he’s not that guy that she likes, girl moves too fast w/ guy and grows attached to him doesn’t know why but she just does, then bam drama happens lol. It’s a very stereotypical story but I found it good because it was still done w/ guys.

This definitely would get from me a 8/10 it wasn’t perfect but in comparison to a lot of other movies I’ve seen so far this one was actually not that bad. Although, if I had to comment I think a better version of this movie was the covenant. If you haven’t seen that then I would suggest seeing it and you’ll understand why I would say that

Dead Boyz Don't Cry

Well, unfortunately I am not dead yet(and hopefully not for awhile now) anyways this movie has your basic plot people coming together being killed one by one they don’t know who the killer is, blah blah blah. The acting in this was actually very dry like dry dry. I think this was one of those softcore porns or something because the acting skills from this movie was a bit on the same level.

The really cheesy boring tiresome ones that aren’t really well written. I can admit the guys were hot(not hot hot like most guys on my tumblr but hot enough) it wasn’t terrible because it still looked good and there were some moments but a good majority of the film. I found it to be a bit on the awkward side at times as well for a film for ex. the hot tub scene between the blonde guys was just weird and random af and then it was like….What? why am I seeing this and how come they are dancing as if they have no sense of rhythm or something :/ anyways the movie wasn’t that bad but i just found it to be great if you are interested in seeing naked guys a good majority of the time. That’s the best suggestion I can give you for even trying it. Also one complaint the reasoning behind him killing everybody was pretty stupid considering all that she did beforehand towards those guys, Maybe this is just me talking out of my ass but I’m not going to touch and rub all on a guys crotch then another guys crotch if I’m not expecting to get some of it. I don’t see what happened to her as rape because she seemed more than willing to have it happen(ugh I’m going to regret this so I’ll just cross it out) I don’t know that’s just me but it seemed like a plot full of holes and weirdness I wanted to enjoy it for more than just about seeing naked guys, but let’s be honest that’s basically all that this was.

I found myself also kind of wishing that the characters had personality or dimension because they were just very basic :/

I have to give this movie a 3.5/10 it’s not horrible like I stated it’s just a film I’d only suggest watching for the naked guys that’s the only plus to this film that I can think of atm.

Tumblr needs two things before I can honestly call it a perfect website

1. They need a way for you to reply to a reply somebody sent you. I can’t tell you how annoying it is to have somebody answer your question and you can’t send them anything as a reply to express your feelings towards what they have typed towards you. I usually use the inbox but that doesn’t directly tell me if I did get my message across because I don’t have a FUCKING sent box. Which leads me to the second thing tumblr needs

2. They need to install a sent box, I don’t know if my message is getting across or if I sent them a message or if it went through I want to be sure that I’m not just wasting my own and another person’s time by sending a full and thought out message or something just nonsensical towards them but I wouldn’t know because I either get no replies towards my messages or I do and I don’t remember what we were talking about.
